Pages are similar to Posts in that they have a title, body text, and associated metadata, but they are different in that they are not part of the chronological blog stream, kind of like permanent posts. Pages are not categorized or tagged, but can have a hierarchy. You can nest Pages under other Pages by making one the “Parent” of the other, creating a group of Pages.

Default Template

Pages created using Default Template can be displayed in Homepage via Page Unit, Homepage Super Footer and Other Pages Super Footer.

Using Background Settings panel you can add custom background to any page or post. Two background options are available – Image and Video. Parallax is also included.

Custom Super Footer

Using Super Footer panel you can add custom Super Footer to any page/post, it displays any page content that is created using Default page template. Super Footer supports Full Width content.

Custom Header Display Settings

Using Header Display Settings panel you can choose custom header appearance and functionality settings for specific page or post.

Step 1

Navigate to Dashboard → Pages → Add New in your WordPress dashboard panel.

Add Title to your Page. It will be used in post url and will be displayed in a single Page.

Using page editing area, start adding your page content.

Use shortcodes dropdown and add required shortcodes if needed.

Using Choose Sidebar panel, activate Custom Sidebar for your Page if needed. Select Custom sidebar from dropdown and set sidebar alignment.

Important! Custom Sidebar can be used only when Default Template and Blog with Widget Area Template are selected.

Custom Sidebar can be created using Dashboard → Appearance → CuckooLove → Sidebars tab. Content of the sidebar can be modified using Dashboard → Appearance → Widgets tab.

Using Header Settings panel enter shortcode and add custom header to your Page. Check Hide Title if you want hide Page title.

Using one of 4 theme shortcodes you can add Revolution Slider, Layer Slider, Google Map and Vimeo or Youtube Video to the header of any Page, Post and even to any Custom Post in your site.

Using Page Attributes Panel assign Page Template if needed. Even, when any other than Default Page Template is selected, all content added via Page editing area will be displayed above Page Template content.

Additional Customization Features

Custom Background

Using Background Settings panel, you can add custom background to any page or post. Two background options are available – Image and Video. By entering video URL, you can add any YouTube or Vimeo video as the background of your page/post. If you want to use image background option, you can add Default and Parallax style background. Moreover, using Background Settings panel, you can add an unlimited number of image background layers and create awesome multi-layered parallax background effect.

Global background settings can be managed using Color Settings tab of theme framework. Here you can also choose parallax style background or default background for specific page and posts groups.

1. Choose Custom as your page/post background source;
2. Choose background type of your page/post.

4. Choose background type of Layer #1;
5. Edit other background settings.

* Using Add Layer button you can add unlimited number of background layers.

Custom Super Footer

Using Super Footer panel you can add custom Super Footer to any page/post. Super Footer displays any page content that is created using Default page template. Global Super footer settings can be managed using Header & Footer tab of theme framework.

The awesome thing is that Super Footer supports Full Width content. The usual width of a single pages/post content area is limited to 960 pixels. Using Super Footer you can add full width videos, sliders, maps and other full width stuff to your page above your site’s footer.

Custom Super Footer

1. Choose Custom as your page/post Super Footer source;
2. Select Page Source from pages dropdown;
3. Edit Super Footer top and bottom padding.

In addition, using Header Settings panel you can add Full Width videos, sliders and maps to any page header as well.

Header Display Settings

Using Header Display Settings panel you can choose custom header appearance and functionality settings for a specific page or post.

It’s very useful when different pages display different style content in page header. For example, page displays full screen video or slider. In this case, it is recommended to use Option 5 style header. Header logo and top navigation menu will be hidden until user scrolls to the bottom of the slider.
